One of a small group of works Shayban Ahmed made, Slow Garden returns to a recurring subject: a figure waiting at a window. Honey and terracotta warmed by a late sun dominate, worked with areas of flat colour against a textured ground. What stays with the viewer is its patience. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery.
