Pale Threshold

Pale Threshold was painted after a stay in Baghdad. Built with a palette knife dragged across wet paint, the surface holds honey and terracotta warmed by a late sun; the square format keeps the eye close to the subject. Shown in the artist's solo exhibition at Orfali. It is shown here as the artist intended.
