In Hidden River, Salam Khedher sets down a flock of birds over the river, remembered from Beirut. The square composition is carried by honey and terracotta warmed by a late sun, laid on with areas of flat colour against a textured ground. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery. It is shown here as the artist intended.
