One of a small group of works Rashid Diab made in 2023, Slow Passage returns to a recurring subject: a mother and child in a doorway. Ochres, siennas and a burst of cadmium red dominate, worked with a palette knife dragged across wet paint. A work of unusual quiet joy. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery.
