In Silent Rooftops, Rashid Diab sets down boats pulled up on the mud, remembered from Basra. A near-black ground from which the forms barely emerge dominate, worked with a palette knife dragged across wet paint. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery. It is shown here as the artist intended.
