One of a small group of works Rakan Dabdoub made, Hidden Garden returns to a recurring subject: a mother and child in a doorway. The landscape composition is carried by olive, ash and a thread of rose, laid on with long glazes over an earth ground. A work of unusual nostalgia. Shown in the artist's solo exhibition at Orfali.
