One of a small group of works Rakan Dabdoub made, Hidden Garden returns to a recurring subject: a letter that was never sent. Built with areas of flat colour against a textured ground, the surface holds olive, ash and a thread of rose; the landscape format keeps the eye close to the subject. What stays with the viewer is its patience. Shown in the artist's solo exhibition at Orfali.
