One of a small group of works Rafa Nasiri made, Northern Market returns to a recurring subject: the market at first light. The portrait composition is carried by olive, ash and a thread of rose, laid on with a palette knife dragged across wet paint. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery. It is shown here as the artist intended.
