First Orchard

First Orchard was painted after a stay in Kerak. Built with layers scraped back to the canvas, the surface holds warm earth tones — sand, rust and burnt orange; the landscape format keeps the eye close to the subject. A work of unusual quiet joy. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery.
