One of a small group of works Hashem Al Tawil made, Early Song returns to a recurring subject: a figure waiting at a window. Olive, ash and a thread of rose dominate, worked with a single continuous line. What stays with the viewer is its melancholy. Shown in the artist's solo exhibition at Orfali.
