One of a small group of works Ghandi Jebawi made in 2011, Distant Alley returns to a recurring subject: a musician tuning an oud. A balanced palette of earth and sky dominate, worked with thick impasto built up over weeks. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery. It is shown here as the artist intended.
