One of a small group of works Farouq Hassan made in 2013, Distant Bridge returns to a recurring subject: a flock of birds over the river. The portrait composition is carried by muted greens and greys with a single warm accent, laid on with layers scraped back to the canvas. Exhibited at Orfali Art Gallery.
