Amber Passage

One of a small group of works Fakher Mohammad made, Amber Passage returns to a recurring subject: a doorway seen from the street. Built with long glazes over an earth ground, the surface holds a balanced palette of earth and sky; the landscape format keeps the eye close to the subject. A work of unusual nostalgia. Shown in the artist's solo exhibition at Orfali.
