One of a small group of works Abdulqader Bakheet made in 2017, Blue Letter returns to a recurring subject: the last palm trees before the desert. A balanced palette of earth and sky dominate, worked with thin washes that let the drawing show through. What stays with the viewer is its patience. Shown in the artist's solo exhibition at Orfali.
