Waleed R Qaisi

Waleed R Qaisi is a painter and sculptor whose practice moves between canvas, relief and small-scale construction. His paintings begin with a single drawn contour — a chair, a figure, a roofline — set loose across fields of saturated colour, and end where the paint thickens into clusters that swallow the image. In his sculptures the same line becomes physical: beams and struts assembled into structures that suggest furniture and architecture without ever committing to either. Disavowal is his first solo presentation at Orfali Art Gallery.
